Hi, friends at EPR — We want to play Echo Park Rising again (our first time since 2014) which comes just a few weeks after the summer release of our debut album “OMAKASE”

Buzzbands.la, Nerdist, KCSN, CBS, BalconyTV, and PopMatters are just a few outlets that have invited us over or called our danceable nerd-pop anything from “joyously spirited” to “loose, heartfelt, and exuberant.”

We’ve also been incredibly fortunate to have a successful Monday night residency at The Echo, which we’re aiming for again this year.

Since our last release, we’ve been in hiding writing “OMAKASE” which is our debut album that aims to deconstruct R&B, dance, funk, and pop, and put it back together with all the confusion that modern times have brought upon us. We are *INSANELY* excited to show these tunes off and EPR would be the perfect event to do this.

We hope you dig “Wide Awake,” the single from “OMAKASE.” “Wide Awake” is mastered by T.W Walsh (Sufjan Stevens, Benjamin Gibbard, The Shins, Cold War Kids). We hope you also dig the couple other jams that gave us some nice attention since our last appearance at Echo Park Rising.

We hope to hear back. Please feel free to contact us at wartimerecitals@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Wartime Recitals is Jonathan Krueger (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Meagan Christy (co-vocalist, synths, percussion, brass), Hugo P.G. (piano, Rhodes, Wurlitzer), Joe Cooper (electric guitar), Michael Giardina (bass), and Thomas Bram (drums).
